24 Μάι European Social Network working group meeting on EU Funding – Register now!
Dear colleagues,
This message is to remind you to register for the meeting of the Working Group on EU Funding for Social Services, which will take place on 27 May from 10:00-12:30 CET.
In 2021, ESN’s Working Group on the EU Funding will focus on the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). We will look closely at National Recovery and Resilience Plans to answer the following questions: have regional authorities and third sector representatives been involved in drawing up the Plans? Are investments in public social services included in the Plans and are sufficient resources allocated for this purpose? Will the implementation of the Plans bring us closer to achieving the ambitious targets of the European Pillar of Social Rights? What problems have been encountered so far with management of the European funds and what are the concerns about the RRF?
During the meeting, we will hear from high-level EU officials and representatives from local public social services on their evaluation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plans and possible recommendations for the future. In addition, we will create a space for our Members to share their experiences concerning the Plans during an open discussion session.
